Data Sovereignty & GDPR Compliance

Privacy Policy & Zero-Tracking Architecture

calcGPA guarantees complete student privacy through zero server-side data collection, local client-side calculation execution, and zero tracking cookies.

Client-Side Data Sovereignty Commitment

We believe that student academic transcripts and grade performance records are strictly confidential personal information. calcGPA is architected so that your grades and course titles never leave your local device.

1. Zero Data Collection & Server Transmission

All GPA, CGPA, and percentage calculations occur solely within your device's web browser using client-side JavaScript. We do not operate user accounts, logins, or remote databases. No course titles, grades, credit hours, or calculated totals are ever transmitted across the internet to our servers or third parties.

2. Browser Local Storage Usage

If you utilize the save or preset features, your course schedule is stored exclusively inside your browser's local HTML5 localStorage. This data remains on your physical device until you clear your browser history or click the "Reset Ledger" button.

3. Zero Advertising & Cross-Site Tracking

calcGPA does not install third-party tracking pixels, marketing beacons, or commercial advertising cookies. We do not sell, rent, or monetize student calculation records.

4. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Because we do not collect, process, or store personal data, calcGPA inherently fulfills the fundamental privacy-by-design requirements of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

5. EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) Article 50 Disclosures

In accordance with Article 50 and Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act, synthetic media is labeled across all pages. All calculation formulas, grading models, and published articles undergo human editorial review and verification, with full editorial and legal responsibility retained by our academic desk.
